As you can see from the picture on the left the beach at Port de Pollensa is magnificent.

Port de Pollensa town contains many bars and restaurants, several of them overlooking the sea on the famous 'pine walk' where in peak season street entertainers are performing.

Also the square in the town centre has many good restaurants as well as the market each Wednesday.

Just around the corner from the apartment, the Rosa Blanca serves food and drink almost 24/7. There is also a small supermarket and a smaller bar / restaurant all within a few hundred metres of the apartment. The main supermarket in the town is about 500 metres from the apartment. For the gym bunnies the Duva Fitness and Spa is only two hundred metres from the apartment. A two week pass in the gym will set you back 45 Euros (2019 rates), you can also pay for a single visit. For those who like clubbing there are one or two night clubs in the town, the most famous is called Chivas. For the more serious clubber the town of Alcudia is only 10 minutes away in a taxi which has numerous clubs, the most famous being Menta.

For water sports, on the beach you can take sailing or wind surfing lessons, hire a pedalo, jet ski, banana ride, parachute ride etc. or simply fishing for mullet or sea bass. Pollensa has a nine hole golf course (about 10 minutes drive from the apartment) and an 18 hole championship course at Alcanada, 15 minutes away. If you like cycling, Mallorca is the place to go, with lots of mountain and flat routes readily available from Port de Pollensa. Sir Bradley Wiggins and the Sky Olympic team did a lot of their training in Mallorca. There are several hire shops in the town, but if you want a top notch bike you'll need to book in advance with https://www.procyclehire.com/ . The most popular time for cycling is early or late season (March, April, October, November).

Port de Pollensa is a paradise for bird watchers. The marsh of Alburfuera is about 15 minutes drive from the apartment. As bird watchers will know this is a great stopping off point during the spring and autumn migration periods for gulls, herons, egrets and terns.

Pollensa town is also worth a visit. Steeped in history it boasts several good restaurants around the square. Pollensa town is about 10 minutes drive from the apartment.
